This project consisted of the modification and repair of an existing potable water treatment plant, located in the lower valley, to double it size and capacity from 20,000,000 gallons per day to 40, 000,000 gallons per day. The structural design for this project included the design of above grade and below grade cast-in-place concrete water containment structures, CMU masonry buildings with steel bar joist roof framing and structural steel machine and equipment support structures. There were change orders to adjust contract quantities to match installed quantities.
