CANAL WATER TREATMENT PLANT MODIFICATIONS AND RENOVATION (March 1996 September 2002), El Paso, Texas, El Paso Water Utilities with Camp Dresser & McKee, Inc. This project was a multi phase project spread over a six-year period and consisted of an investigation and report phase, design phase and four construction phases to allow for the continuous operation of the plants located on the Canal site. The structural portion of this project consisted of structural modifications to the plant to accommodate changes to the water treatment processes and structural repairs and rehabilitation of the individual concrete and masonry structures that make up components of the two treatment plants that occupy the Canal site; from the below grade finished water reservoirs to the above grade water treatment structures and the seven-story chemical storage tower.
